Does ClearDrops or any zeolite product have the capability to help balance the body’s pH?

Denise Stephens, ZOI CEO (00:00):

Okay, Carrie. Now let's move into something that has been repeatedly asked about and part of the gimmicks going on in the market that we will expose. Thank you, Carrie.

ZOI Advisor  (00:11):

Sure. I have a lot of clients and they do try, you know, other zeolites out there. And even on the websites they're talking about, you know, they're balancing the pH and these are zeolites that do not have good bioavailability like ours does. So, can you explain how the ClearDrops, you know, does or does not balance the pH?

Dr. Nikolaos Tsirikos-Karapanos, PharmD, MD, Cardiothoracic Surgeon (00:36):

All right. We'll say how we don't do it. All right, well, they say that some companies say that pigs can fly, but trust me, I've not seen any flying around. All right. As we have said before, with Denise, we are living in an era where we have the glorious victory of marketing over science, and that's horrible to witness as a scientist, as I'm sure, as I assume, both Lori and Carrie and many healthcare professionals that honor us to cooperate with us, see every single day. So the answer is no, this is a crazy claim from several companies and individuals that were and still some of them are bad actors in the zeolite space, and it is these companies and these individuals that smear the name of the dietary supplements industry. Okay. They started with a company called Yiora many years ago.

Dr. Nikolaos Tsirikos-Karapanos, PharmD, MD, Cardiothoracic Surgeon (02:08):

And today we see the repercussions of this crazy claim as if that your zeolites and we balance the human pH all right, let's get a little serious here. The blood pH is very strictly the human blood pH is very strictly maintained between seven point 35 and seven point 45. This is the bracket, above seven point 45. We have a condition which is called alkalosis above seven point 45. These needs attention, medical attention below seven point 35. We have another condition which is called acidosis. These is a medical condition that needs also attention. Okay. It would be horrible. If the zeolite could change this pH increase it or decrease it, it could be unhealthy. And maybe it would cause serious health problems, acutely serious health problems. Now, too, just to give you an idea on why this claim is so crazy.

Dr. Nikolaos Tsirikos-Karapanos, PharmD, MD, Cardiothoracic Surgeon (03:49):

And again, this claim Carrie came from many companies as I told you and many individuals, and some of them still are making this crazy claim. All these people are not scientists. All of these people are or were marketers. Now some of them pretend that they are scientists and their motive is at profit and they sacrifice anything in order to go to the final destination for them, which is the profit. Now let's destroy this myth once and forever. All right? The pH that we have in our stomach is between roughly 1.5 and 3.5. Our stomach cells produce a very strong ax acid hydrochloric acid in this hydrochloric acid produced by our own stomach cells is used to break down the food particles, chemicals, break it down. The lemon juice has a pH of around 2. Coca-Cola very popular pop has about a pH between 2.7, 2.5 and 2.7.

Dr. Nikolaos Tsirikos-Karapanos, PharmD, MD, Cardiothoracic Surgeon (05:20):

This is the region of pH of the cola drinks. Now we have pH of 1.5 to 3.5 into our own stomach maintained low by hydrochloric acid that our own cells are making still the pH of our blood is between 7 35 and 7 45. We drink lemon juice. We drink, drink lemonades. We drink Coca-Cola still Our body maintains the pH of 7 35 to 7 45 in our blood. So even if you drink an acidic drink, even if you drink in a alcoholic drink, guess what the pH of your body will stay, actually must stay. The blood pH must stay between 7 30, 5 and 7 45 zeolites do not alter the blood pH and more over and more importantly. And let's destroy this myth once forever. Zeolites do not regulate the pH of your body, your body itself through its homeostatic mechanisms that regulate, thanks God, it's all pH

ZOI Advisor  (07:01):

Very well sid.

ZOI Advisor  (07:04):

The human body care of all of that. We don't need a zeolite to do that part, but the zeolite does So much more.

Denise Stephens, ZOI CEO (07:12):

Yeah. That Carrie, thank you so much for bringing that point up because again, just like, just like you said, Dr. Nicholas, so many people are so focused on the money that they'll say anything to make a sale. And at ZOI Global we are about the science and the science rules, and we tell the truth and you're going to get big enough benefit from what the zeolite does. We don't need it to be a master of a Jack of all trades and a master agreement.

Dr. Nikolaos Tsirikos-Karapanos, PharmD, MD, Cardiothoracic Surgeon (07:41):

Denise, this is, this is like the notion that I'm listening, I'm listening people saying anti-aging properties of anything, or you take this dietary supplement for anti-aging properties. And I'm saying, all right, English is my, is not my native language is my second actually is my third language. And I'm wondering, have I ever witnessed anything that can reduce your age to be anti-aging? I have not neither as a pharmacist or a board-certified medical doctor or a cardiovascular surgeon, I've not seen anything that is anti-aging. The only interpretation I can give is that these people have in their minds, something like help you to help you to have healthy aging, but a reversal of aging only in theatrical pieces and in the movies, such a thing exists. Come on.

Denise Stephens, ZOI CEO (08:56):

Yeah. You know, Dr. Nichols and ZOI Globall, you are helping us and our, our clients really take a step back and really think about the wild, wild west known as the dietary supplement industry. So thank you for that phenomenal clarification, Carrie, thank you for that most important question.
